Originally launched in the late sixties as a specialist for radio technology and wireless communication (hence our company name: Drahtlose Nachrichtentechnik GmbH which means wireless communication engineering), today dnt GmbH offers a comprehensive range of audio and multimedia products:
dnt GmbH maintains their home office in the Hessian town of Dietzenbach. From here, they offer comprehensive services featuring an in-house development department, sales department and online shop. The in-house service and repairs departments are also situated in Dietzenbach along with the individual customer service provided by the technical hotline (+49 (0) 60 74 / 37 14 0, at the regular city and German-wide tariff). |

The wishes and demands of the customer are at the heart of the concept design of every dnt product. Not only the individual product itself, but how these products are used on an everyday basis is important to us. This was the consideration behind the creation of the attractive all-inclusive MP3 sets, in which the MP3 player as the core piece of a comprehensive equipment set is accompanied by important and useful accessories: a Sporty Fun is supplied with an outdoor speaker including rechargeable batteries and charger, waterproof bag, special sports earphones with splashguard, a backpack and much more. Different people have different needs. Robustness and ease of use are key to professionals using radio equipment or call centre and VoIP headsets, whereas genuine music lovers expect an MP3 player to feature a card slot along with 2 headphone connections, such as the MP3 Music Tower. The Sporty Black&Beat ensures undisturbed listening pleasure thanks to its high-quality earphones with 3 different ear fitting pieces.
In-house development and innovation
Our Young 446 baby monitor radio device offers additional features that are specially tailored to its use as a baby monitoring system. Tested to EN 71, it is one of the few PMR baby monitors approved for toy safety. Further functions such as an out-of-range alarm and reducible sensitivity adjustment feature in close-up range are the fruits of intensive market research and the active development work of our in-house engineers.

When the market opened up in the year 2006 for so-called audio transmitters, small radio systems that directly broadcast the audio signal of an MP3 or CD player to your own radio, for example in the car, dnt was the first company to offer an approved universal FM transmitter. Today, the dnt MusicFly is the most sold FM transmitter on the German market. It offers music fans a simple and economical option for listening to their own music on the radio- free of stress and installation effort. |
Fashion and trends
We develop products that offer more than just pure technology. Our products are in line with our customers. The trendy MP3 player Sporty Girl is not only a gem in terms of appearance, it also matches the stylish outfits of today's generation of teenagers and young women. Sporty Safari is offered in the current casual trend colours beige/brown and is ideally suited for snowboarding as well as for a day at the beach thanks to the waterproof bag and splashguard earphones that come standard. Croco-D also arrives on the scene, perfectly styled as an athletic product. Equipped with a neckband earphone, you can clip the mini MP3 player right onto your t-shirt, backpack or jacket - nothing jiggles or slows you down.

We established the dnt Audio-Video-Guide on our homepage as early as 2004. From the numerous calls and replies from our customers, we learned that there is a great demand for information, especially in the area of new technologies. What is a DRM decoder? How do I download music from the Internet? Which programs can I receive with DVB-T tuner and where? We explain this and much more in simple terms on our portal.
The dnt Online Shop offers customers the opportunity to directly order every product quickly and uncomplicatedly from us. Above all, here you will find accessories or models that are not available on the retail market. The pamphlets for all of our products are available for download. Many instruction manuals and the most recent software upgrades are available on the website, categorized according to product for easy accessibility. High-resolution product photos for our trade partners and press releases along with detailed product texts and data can be found in the press / gallery portal for interested parties (as of mid-November 2006).
